POLICY

AS A GOOD CORPORATE CITIZEN, THE GROUP VALUES THE SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT AND STRIVES FOR ITS EFFECTIVE PROTECTION.

Penfabric has in place a comprehensive waste management system. The Group adopts contemporary technologies in waste treatment to fulfill the uncompromised objective of complying with the environmental protection regulations. :-

1) Select and use the most environmental friendly chemicals and dyestuffs ( Low COD and biodegradable).

2) Recycle and reuse waste (caustic soda and PVA recoveries).

3) Anaerobic and aerobic biological waste water treatment method.

4) State-of-the-art incinerator for scheduled waste with online dust parameter indicator to DOE office.

5) Penfabric Mill 3 was awarded the good environment management certification of ISO 14001 in 2004.
